Here I am, in a beautiful area of the city, in a living space I love. It feels like home. There are plenty of interesting people in this town, I have made some friends who live not too far away... I think the place's Feng Shui is great - I've been mindful of that... and yet, I don't have a job or a partner... The beauty of the place makes me feel content, and the two now vacant areas of my life are unnoticeable on a daily basis - perhaps because the senses savor the surroundings. The deeper depths know what's missing. How ironic it is that one can live amidst the beauty and have two major areas in life empty... Yet, I don't feel emptiness, I just reflect on it at times. The moments when I notice it is when I want to go out and explore the city - I loathe doing it alone. Anyone who tells me s/he enjoys going out alone is not being truthful. I don't dwell on it much, but on some nights I wonder whether I should invest greater effort in finding a mate. I don't know...I want it all to happen effortlessly, unexpectedly, miraculously...

Just knowing you can go out and explore is a comforting notion, Gypsy. There is nothing missing in your life at this moment because the fullest you can be is right now. Your day will come and you will have everything. Believe.

Gypsy, I've got to think that you know that this statement isn't true for everyone. It's true for some people, some of the time. Do you never like going out alone? I don't want to go out alone all of the time, but I certainly do enjoy it some of the time.
You have the foundations - a good, comfortable place to live - to build on to get everything else you want in life. One little step at a time, and don't forget to reflect on all that you do have.

GC, I do reflect on what I do have, all the time. It's true that I enjoy being alone or going places alone sometimes, but when it becomes the only way, it gets old after a while And I don't usually dwell on what I don't have, but when I think about how things might have been, what's missing comes to mind.
